Kanthal Globar, a Sandvik Company, traces its roots back to The Carborundum Corporation in Niagara Falls, NY. The company was established when Kanthal AB of Sweden purchased Carborundum's Electronic Products Division.
Today, Kanthal Globar is a member of the Sandvik Group, a $7.4 billion high technology enterprise with 38,000 employees worldwide.
